Hi there!
Welcome to my Blog, here is where I aim to keep you updated on what i've been up to.
I'll be glad when this winter is over, its affected everything from courier services to wood sales, however thankfully my customers have been forever patient.
I've been working on various projects all of which have filled me with joy, I love the fact that my customers like the work I do and i'm overwhelmed to receive letters and emails afterwards its very encouraging for me. For the jungle box shown below I received a lovely email and photograph featuring my one year old customer pictured next to his box, grinning from ear to ear! Really brightened my day and I thought yes, that's why I do this job!!!!!!!!! The rewards speak for themselves, not only do I have the luxury of being there for my own children whilst I work, I absolutely adore what I do,at times feel so blessed!
At the moment i'm on top of everything, turn around on the boxes is 4 weeks (handmade takes time but is worth the wait) and i'm intermingling my work on the toyboxes with some jewellery fired in the kiln. I'll keep you posted when I have my new etsy site.
Don't forget I also paint reconditioned blanket boxes too, so if you've one that you'd like me to paint please do get in touch with your requirements. I'm only on the other end of the pc or phone and i'm happy to help with any enquiry large or small. Here's a picture of the jungle box I mentioned, why a mammouth? Well quite simply its his fav toy, naturally none of these animals would be found together in real life but somehow I think, it just gels!
